Sculpture/dish,mdina,murano,or Chinese ?
« on: March 15, 2015, 03:16:54 PM »
Hi--- any help to identify this sculpture/ dish would be welcomed.
I was offered it as damaged goods ( the tips of the wings appeared to have been snapped off ) but I bought it anyway because of it's elegance and the " sommerso effect" ( blue green Amber).
The wings ( if that's the right term ) have a bit of a side strip going up them ( not that obvious in the pic )
It has a slightly uneven flat polished base.
The coloured glass seems to have a lot of minute bubbles ( not obvious to the naked eye ) but the clear appears to be free of these.
Thanks for any help.
