I haven't posted in awhile, but after looking over the Board I take it this is where I "show and tell" about a piece?

We just bought this from a Santa Fe estate. I'm still kind of in awe of it, and haven't decided whether we keep it or sell it - but enough time for that later. Right now it's OURS.
This piece is by Jack Ink, a student of and assistant to Harvey Littleton, the founder of the International Studio Art Glass Movement. Now living in Austria where he's lived since 1975 - at least that's the latest information I can find about him. Is anyone currently up on Jack Ink? I can't find much online.
This piece is 14" tall, 12" wide. By far the largest piece of art glass I've ever had. It's a box - the top comes off, and there are brass fittings on both top and bottom. It's large enough to be a mini-bar, haha - could hold several bottles of wine. Although seriously I don't know if it was created with a purpose in mind, it's just a gorgeous piece of functional glass.
Excuse the poor quality of the photos, they are from my phone and taken just to share - better photos to come once I figure out where to shoot it. It's signed Jack Ink 2436.
