Green Geode bowl Murano?
« on: April 02, 2015, 03:37:03 PM »
Hi - can someone help identify this beautiful bowl for me please?
I rescued it from my m-in-law's house after she died. I just love the shape & colour, it's so tactile. There are no chips or scratches - it's just perfect.
It measures approx. 6" wide x 4" high
I think it's Murano, but not 100% sure.
Maker identity and year would also be very helpful.
Thank you

Hello and welcome to the board. What a super looking bowl this is... could we have a photo of the base as well please, as that helps enormously with working out where things come from - even if there's nothing obvious there. Hopefully someone can point you in the right direction then. :)
Cheers! Anne, da tekniqual wizzerd

Here is the base - absolutely no marks.
I'm so glad I found this forum.  :)
There is precious little out there on glass identification.

I think Murano is a very safe bet, nice bowl good size too. I don't know which maker though.
