Having a hard time dating a mould blown glass Chinese Snuff Bottle. Can not decide if 19th or with a little luck, maybe even attribute to 18th century Palace glass shops. But other clues are pointing more towards late 19th.
Along with the other clues shown on the bottle, I am hoping that there may be a clue to these small gold drops or bubbles within the bottle that may help in dating the glass.
I know that Jesuit missionaries introduced to the Chinese palace glass shops the use of gold and even copper flakes into the molten glass so as to produce different colored glass. But these gold drops or bubbles are unlike that.
Any help here will be greatly appreciated !
