Hand engraved gold leafed candy dish?

We've had this piece in the family for many years. any ideas when and where it was produced. I have a feeling it may have early 20th century Bavarian.

I have just found a similar piece ! My searches turn into Reverse Intaglio engraved Gilded Glass. Probably Czech around 1900 in date. I will let you know more when if I find it.
