Art Glass Snail signed AM

Small art glass snail, possibly a PW with stripes in varying colours in a wave form on the back. Captured bubbles in the clear section. Approx 8.5cms long x 6.5cms high It is etched to the base AM '89 Any thoughts appreciated. As always - thank you.
