Please Help
« on: April 16, 2015, 01:11:11 PM »
Could someone possibly help identify a vase for me. Any information would be greatly appreciated. A dealer told me it could be a Whitefriars frigger, but I'm doubting it.. It is indigo in colour flared at the top, with a twist, & has a ground out but unpolished pontil mark.
I do have pictures but the system will not allow me to upload them as the files are too large to upload.
I'm new to this forum so not 100% sure if I've posted in the correct place.

Hi and welcome. There are loads of techie tips here for resizing images. You just need to find the right set of instructions for the system you're using.
http://www.glassmessages.com/index.php/board,22.0.html

Failing that, click on the envelope under my username to send me a message. I can then email you back and you can send me the images to resize for you. :)

I'm afraid the story you say the dealer told you does sound a little dodgy to me, but it might be something else really exciting - you never know. ;D

Hi Sue,
Thanks for your reply & advice. I'll try resizing the images first, and then if no luck, & you don't mind I'll forward the images on to you.
Cheers, Tux.

It's no problem for me. (I've got my system set up to resize for the board.)
Just shout if you run into trouble.

Here are the resized pics I've been sent. :)
The images have gone a bit wonky, they don't enlarge well. I suspect there weren't enough pixies in them.
(I know nothing about computers.)
