All I can say is there was a designer by the name of Henri Berg who did work in the Daum region & evidently was known for designing French pate de verre art glass vases & is at least known. You may (and I would encourage this) have to contact a Daum collector/dealer website for a 100% attribution & I only say this because personally to me it looks like a well known Czech design type of vase, however maybe this design originated earlier in the Daum area France.  I did find a Daum dealer who openly encourages individuals to cantact them for verification so perhaps they can assist you. My opinion only.

Out of interest, is the photo of the stencilled mark ( HENRI NANCY BERGÉ ) reversed, or is the mark like that on the base? Or is the mark somehow inside the base?

Hi Kev
The mark appears exactly as you see it on the base of the vase.
Thanks for looking.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but this vase is certainly nothing to do with Daum. The vase is Czech, a 1980s or newer issue of an older design (either Schlevogt or Halama, I forget who did the original but it shouldn't be hard to find). About 10-20 years ago there was a rash of these coming on to the market with fake 'R. Lalique' marks. It looks like the forgers have diversified now -- quite possibly because people got wise to the Lalique scam...

Thank you for the info. I had a good idea that this was a fake mark and its seems like they tried to do a good job on base scratches.

Thank you so much for looking and the advice.
