Forgot - and the Zwiesel ones have a clear surface without any hints of iridescence.

Thanks for the link Tigerchips :)
That is a shape I haven't seen before either...

I have a few of the "Florida" pieces by Löffelhardt, totally different base finish (shiny base with circular polished pontil mark), and as Dirk says no iridescence.
But the bubbles and inclusions are very similar, I do wonder if by accident or not...

Michael

I have one in the shape and colours of the pair in the ebay link - it has a flat, roughly ground base.

 ;D
Well found.
That would seem to support the Rumanian rumour. ;)
However, it is hard to tell if the rainbow irridesence is present or not; it doesn't have any odd surface features or pulls into odd shapes, (another common feature of these vases). And there is no image of the base to see if it is roughly ground.
It has the label, but I'm not absolutely sure it is exactly the right sort of glass. :-\

Nice find, the dark green inclusions (or whatever you call them) inbetween the bubbles look the same. So Romania spelt with a 'u' as well, may aid me in my search.
One day I shall come back. Yes, I shall come back. Until then, there must be no regrets, no tears, no anxieties. Just go forward in all your beliefs and prove to me that I am not mistaken in mine. William Hartnell

I agree, it does look right - I just want more confirmation to be sure.

I'll ask Jan for a photo of the base for us  ;)

And does it have the rainbow irridesence on the surface too, pretty please?
