Mystery Glass Bowl?
« on: April 27, 2015, 03:12:53 PM »
Please can somebody help me identify or give me any information about this piece of glass.  I got it at the local car boot yesterday, it is damaged, didn't cost a lot so not the end of the world if its nothing but I thought it seemed interesting.  The man I bought it off said the weird textured outside was from powdered glass, it looks like its been rolled in dry mud but it doesn't scrub off, I tried - just in case.  It is solid and heavy, I hope the photos give enough detail as I've had to reduce the pixel size to get them small enough to put up.

Thanks Magpie
