Possibly Bohemian Barber Bottle Gilt Enamel Green Glass
« on: April 30, 2015, 05:29:14 PM »
Hi everyone! I just found this place... wow what a lot of information to soak in! I recently found this barber bottle at an estate sale, and I am wondering if any of you could help me to identify its origin. I would love any and all information about this piece, including reasons why you think it is what it is. I am totally new to this, and have no knowledge about any of it! I have attached a few pictures, but if you need more please let me know. It stands about 4 inches tall, has an enamel design with some gilding, and has two screw off toppers. Thank you for looking, and I hope to learn something new!

I would go with Bohemian but not with barber bottle. Barber bottles are much taller than 4" - this is a perfume or an atomiser and probably belonged to a set with powder box, comb tray etc.

Welcome to the GMB by the way - hope you'll have a nice time here.

Thank you! I am not much of a collector of glass. I just buy things I think are really cool, and this fit into that category ;D I had no idea what it was, but someone on a different forum thought it was a barber bottle. Perfume bottle makes more sense I think. Do you have any clue as to the time period this may have been made? Thank you for all of your help!
