This is not Rusticana - there are a few differences. A while ago I was looking at this pattern but could not find out who the maker was.

I also would like to know where to get tops for these too! Occasionally you will find odd ones at flea markets and the like, they seem to have made them in many sizes, often differing by only an eighth of an inch or so. I have several spares picked up over the years - If you are lucky maybe one of them will fit - what is the outside diameter of the rim of your vase?

John

By some weird quirk of fate I actually have two that are just over 12cm so they may well fit...

By all means but there is a chance they will be too tight. You would be welcome to try them out for size first - I can take them down to my flea market stall and if you bring the vase with you could 'road test' them. That flea market is in Cardiff and open on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays.

Info about the market here: http://www.glassmessages.com/index.php/topic,57879.0.html
If you do come down let me know and I can email you directions, some people have found it a bit difficult to find on their first visit.

Excellent, I will take the grills down to the stall, they will be there when you call. You can't miss me, it is the only stall with silly quantities of glass. ;D

I know it is supposed to have a metal grill on top but I would suspect that Loetz would be heavier (thicker walled glass) than yours looks and the edge would probably be fire polished too.

I am no expert just an enthusiast
