Curious vase - oil spot abstract pattern
« on: May 29, 2015, 03:01:31 PM »
A curious little ruffled vase - about 5 inches across, 4 high. Thin walled, iridescent but with an abstract oil spot type pattern that does look - vaguely - - like chinese figures, almost - cased in clear glass over the pink ground and coloured abstract pattern. It reminds me a bit of those fairy night lights. Can't pin it down - any ideas at all ?
Best regards
Rose

I think the high gloss variety comes out of Romania but it is the same technique.
