2 glass IDs please
« on: June 02, 2015, 01:39:18 PM »
Hi all,

I'm struggling to ID these two pieces of glass and wonder if anyone had any wisdom on either of them? Neither of them are marked.

Appreciate any ideas as I'm stuck.

Thanks.

Hi GinaG3,

Welcome to the Board.

Could you please start a new thread for the blue bottle. Unless they are clearly from the same maker, having more than one item in a thread can get confusing especially if there are many responses for each item.

Also, is it possible for yuo to rotate the images so they are upright?

Welcome to the glass message board, Gina.

Your rectangular vase is a recent product from China, most likely retailed by TKMAXX.

The blue lidded item is either from Empoli (F lor ence) in the 1970s or a bit more recent and made Euroglass in Romania. You'd have to assess the quality to figure our which is which.

In any case, they are functional, decorative and well designed.
