M Janku signed crystal eel/fish
« on: June 09, 2015, 03:22:51 AM »
I need some help to ID an item a buddy got an estate sale. It is beautiful, but he wants to sell it.
I'm trying to get some info together to decide to sell or keep it.

This has touched a nerve with me. My family had a history of collecting glass...mostly Murano art and paperweights.
My mother gave me my first piece when I was much younger, and it was stolen by some "adult" entertainment during a bachelor party (another story for another time) I'm not sure if I want to get sucked in to this rabbit hole again.

How would you date something like this? I can't find anything else like it online.

My friend calls it an eel, I'm saying fish. Can anyone help settle this?

Any other information would be awesome.

Thanks in advance!

The correct search term for google images is "janku zbs". If you skip the zbs you get page after page of bimbo's.

I'm going to ask a moderator to put your last post in another area, one we have specifically for showing sales.
Don't worry about it.

I would agree that it is some sort of amphibian and not an eel ;)

BTW, mentioning the help of the GMB in the ebay listing would be nice >> http://www.glassmessages.com/index.php/topic,23766.0.html
