GLASS ID, SCOTTISH POSSIBLY? HELP PLEASE
« on: June 27, 2015, 10:18:27 AM »
Hi all,
I bought this wee vase the other day, I thought initially Scottish, but have been told probably not!!
Its cased glass, stands about 5" tall, swirls and almost lattice patterns through parts of it. shows some wear, not much to the base. Pontil seems to have been heated smooth. Any help would be much appreciated.
Cheers in advance, David ;D

Teign Valley Glass? Have you checked it is not signed in tiny letters round the pontil mark. That very smooth, very indented mark always makes me think TVG

Hi, thanks for the leads, I will look for tiny signiture, but pretty sure there are no marks. It's a really nice bit of glass, I'd love trace this one😁
I have some direction now!
