Cesare Toso - Alexandrite. Italian or Czech manufacture?

Dear Glassmessagers,

I have seen discussion on our board here before referring to other Alexandrite pieces by Cesare Toso as possibly having a Czech origin.

I've attached here three pictures of one which really does have characteristics that may make you wonder?  :)
