Hi Ken, Reminds me of some Etling designs, may be worth looking into.

While you're at it you might want to check barolač as well.

Definitely an Etling pattern. A marked example was sold on ebay a while back (item no. 230974302662). I'm sure it's also shown in one of the reference books -- Cappa or Decelle maybe -- will check when I get back to the office.

I've seen this pattern both as a bowl and in a smaller size as a covered box. I don't know why it would be unmarked though but maybe Choisy-le-Roi continued to issue the design after Etling closed? I also have a blue bowl moulded with grapes which is a known Etling pattern but lacks a mark...

Steven

Just wanted to say the assistance from Greg. Ivo & Steven was very much appreciated by Mary from the U.S. glass board (chataboutdg). Thanks to all. Ken

Just an update to say I couldn't find an illustration of this shape in my books, however Decelle, in Opalescenece Le Verre Moulée des Annees 1920-30, does mention an Etling 'Assiette aux eucalyptus' which likely refers to this pattern. He doesn't attribute it to a specific designer, but many of the plant and floral designs produced for Etling were created by Georges Béal.
