Machine etched jug?
« on: August 05, 2015, 01:34:08 PM »
Hi all,as you can probably tell I'm on a mini holiday doing what I like best, snuffling around likely and unlikely haunts looking for bits and bobs,so I've found something else today to hassle you with!it's about 17cm high machine etched but with an engraved border around the neck and a very difficult to photo polished pontil that you'll have to take my word for, having looked up machine etched glass I believe some was sold from Woolworths up to the 60s,so not all Edwardian, and this has very little wear to the base but I think maybe a little older, any thoughts on date and origin, many thanks.
