Thanks Chris, I can see the similarity in the signatures and the swan photo you posted. I never thought to look at William Walker, as I have had to ask here before for a piece of his, for someone else a long time ago and the signature was different to this one! Maybe William will see this and possibly confirm if it is or isn't.

William is the most friendly and helpful glass artist, he won't think you are pestering him,  he will be so pleased you have one of his pieces of art glass (if it is his) and I am sure he will reply very quickly... do ask him.  :)

I have received a reply from William Walker and he has confirmed he did make the item (candlestick) and that is his signature.
