Thorned bud vase-is this John Walsh or Murano?
« on: August 12, 2015, 10:07:56 PM »
I have inherited many antique glass items I am trying to identify and eventually sell - this one has everyone stumped.  Who can please tell me what it is? Thank you.  There is no marking on the bottom.

Welcome to the board. Not Walsh or Murano. Bohemian and possibly Franz Welz or Kralik. It's always best to show glass against a white or very pale background so we can see colours properly. That looks like uranium glass but I would need another picture to be sure. (It's also badly water stained  :( )

Thank you so much, Lustrousstone.  I will also keep in mind to change the background in my photos next time, thanks for the tip.
