Art nouveau vase---Kralik ?
« on: September 27, 2015, 06:29:22 AM »
Hi--any help in identifying the origin of this vase would be appreciated.
It's 20cms high.
It's been enamelled and gilded --- its base wear ( and loss of some of the gilding) would suggest  that it's a period piece?
The green glass has some iridescence ( which I've been unable to capture in the photos)
The glass also contains some seeds and one or two dimples.
The pontil mark is concave.
There is a slight fluting to the body of the vase---not evident in the photos.
Any thoughts? Thanks
Scott

Hi--- I don't think the glass has iridescence  now -- if that means rainbow colours.
It's just quite a bright vibrant green.
Sorry, I don't want to mislead!

Don't think it's Kralik, certainly Bohemian, might be Goldberg, Harrach or one of the many others,   ;D
