Topic: Fratelli Toso ?? Large Vase. ID = Fratelli Toso

Hi there:

Just got this and I am pretty sure ( 99% ) this is a Fratelli Toso Vase -- BUT since it is unmarked, I will post it here and then later it can be moved to Murano Glass.

The bottom has very good wear and a polished pontil. Stripes with Aventurine ( or "copper inclusions ) in it. Very soft colors. Kinda hard to get a good picture.  It has a tint of blue in the bottom, then goes to white, then to a soft, soft pink at the very top of the vase. All the while, it has mottled stripes of white and Aventurine in it. 


Size is:

~ 10 inches tall                   
~ 4.25 inches wide
~ 8.25 inches long

No label on it --- but Positive this is Fratelli Toso.  WHAT are your opinions on this.

I myself AM confident this IS FRATELLI Toso.....my opinion

Rose it does look remarkably similar.  There seems to be variation in the size as well.
Does the aventurine sparkle really well in real life - it doesn't show well on the photos but I know from the pieces I have that it's impossible to show how fabulous aventurine looks in reality.

Looks spot on to me too Rose. There is another (with the thick red stripe) exactly the same shape and an inch taller than yours shown on page 90 of Leslie Pina's book on Fratelli Toso.
