Topic: Murano Paperweight ?

 Good morning,

  Another recent purchase that I believe is Murano? It is very well made but I have not seen this style in the past?

Hi John,

Yes, this is definitely Murano and from the canes and the general set up I believe this paperweight was made by Galliano Ferro when they produced paperweights (which they have not done for a long while now). So it is mid to second part of 20th century.

Good afternoon ,

  Thanks ,  I just looked at a  Galliano Ferro Butterfly that I have and the canes are very similar.  It is just a much better quality and look than  most of the Murano Paperweights I see.
