Art Glass?

Hello, Has anyone seen anything like these before and could offer some assistance. Thanks. Sandy
-----------------------------
They are blown with lots of bubbles and stuff. Not sure if they are from the 1960s or not. Appear older to me for some reason. The metal part is like part of the glass. Any ideas?

Oh, there was a thread on glasses similar to these not too long ago... Though I can't find it.

But someone with a better memory will stumble along, I'm sure.

Sandy,
These are Mexican shot glasses.  Here's a picture of mine.

Boy, if these are shot glasses they would be in the hospital.
Mine are the size of tumblers. About 5 or 6 inches tall.
They probably are along the same line though. Wonder who made them and when. Did anyone find this info out?

No Pinkspoons you're right there was a thread - I had a green goblet without the metal and someone told me who the maker was and it's completely slipped my mind who it was ... Della has a decanter - it's not a Mexican name sounded more like Eastern European.  I'll see if I can find the thread about my green goblet.

Mercy, I am in the USA.
Did the thread mention the time period? Thanks. Sandy

Never mind. I found some info about this designer. Wow. These have the look of Arts and Crafts to me. Almost Gothic to me. Now to find these exact ones and figure out pricing. His stuff seems to do well. I do know the name Orrefors. Thanks so much. Sandy

Sorry Sandy, don't want you to get drunk with your beautiful glasses.  Mine are shot glasses, they are about 3 inches tall.  Maybe I'm the one that had too many shots, because I thought I had bought them in Mexico!!!  Happy to know that I got them elsewhere, but darn it I wish that I could remember.

Ah, but Paul only suggested that the production technique was similar to some of Wiktor Berndt's output. Ivo suggested Spain as probably the most likely source of of these style glasses.

THREAD

And here's a Berndt attribution on WF.com, although bear in mind that the attribution of that piece was solely based on a long-since-deleted eBay auction - so not the most reliable of sources, and as such should be taken with a large pinch of salt:

Is it just me, or is the quality quite different on Nancy's set - seems to be streaky glass and are the tops just a bit wonky?
