This weight is 2 1/4 inches tall, has a classic MDG 'battuto' base with label .

I have many examples of MDG and the base suggests that it was made by Malta Decorative Glass between 1974-1978 .

Despite it's obvious Chinese style, I believe this is Maltese. Thanks for looking. Cheers, Mike.

I'm pretty sure these examples are Maltese rather than Chinese (from the base finish of my example) but the Chinese were very much involved with Malta Decorative Glass at the time these were made. ;)
