Is this the real thing?. It has a nice lead crystal ring and foot wear with a moulded bowl smooth on the inside and ribbed on the outside.

Rough pontil on the underside of the foot.

Any thoughts welcome, regards Chris.

6 1/4 inches in height, 2 3/8th inches across the bowl and 2 1/2 inches across the base.

Hi ,
C 1765 would be close enough I think , it's impossible to put an exact date.

In your second photo of the foot , the right hand side extending from the base of the dome looks shorter than the left hand side , is this just the photo or is there a difference ?

cheers ,

Peter.

It the same size all the way around but underneath the glass is thick on one side making it look slightly shorter, thanks for your help Peter.

Great glass. Looks good to me for 1765ish. What sort of glass is it made of? Lead?

Hi ,
Forgot to mention that your glass does not have a folded foot , it is a plain domed foot ,

cheers ,

Peter.
