Large Stuart England Vase Savoy??
« on: January 28, 2016, 11:11:52 PM »
Have this large-ish vase with acid etch Stuart England to the base. See photos. Trying to find possible pattern name, designer and age (designed). Its 8 3/4 inch tall x 5 3/4 inch wide. Its quite a bold simple but stunning piece.

Thankyou

If you have a look at this pattern, Dartmouth, http://www.replacements.com/webquote/STUDAR.htm and particularly, the jug, they are very similar.

Thanks for the help so far. I think your right about 1950's. Ive been looking for Luxton dersigns. It does appear to be alot like his work with large printie windows (thumbprint cuts) and linear bold style. The Dartmouth pattern seems pretty similar on all pieces but mine doesnt have the half windows. Cant seem to find a Luxton pattern thats exactly the same either.

The plot thickens...
