« on: March 13, 2016, 09:26:31 AM »
Hello,
I found this vase in my grandmother cellar.
It looks from the 70s, I'm wondering where it comes from, Scandinavia, Italy or Germany...
The color is lime green,H about 30cm, D about 15. There is no signature on the bottom...

can anyone help me? ???
thanks!

Hi Mafederi, welcome to the GMB.

I have deleted your original thread from the Paperweights forum and moved this thread from the Scandinavian forum to the general Glass forum.

All ID requests should be placed in the Glass forum initially and when (if) we get information about the country, a moderator will move the thread to the relevant place.

Hi Mafederi,

Can you add a base shot and one overlooking the rim to see the casing please? My guess would be Italian based on what I can see in your pic and pieces I've handled.

Cheers, Ben

Hi - thanks for extra pics,

Yes I would say from Empoli region, Italy - there's a vase on Wayne's superb 20th Century Glass site of similar form and similar (if not the same) colour. Its image no. 16 of 32. Not a definite ID without a label or signature but seems at least a strong possibility...
