Just wondering if anyone can tell me anything about these two jars? No makers marks on either of them

I have the green one with a generic Italian label, which makes it probably Empoli.
I would go for the same source for your yellow one - somewhere Empoli (Fi) in the seventies. Purpose cotton wool balls - the indispensable presence on your make-up table...
