Topic: Glass bubble vase ID

I'm pretty certain this is English of some sort perhaps WF or Webb, can anyone help at all?
Measures 8" tall and has a rim diameter of 6"

just some random thoughts whilst we're waiting..............

Second item down in the permanent library threads, in British, is an archive of Thomas Webb colours...................    to the best of my knowledge they didn't offer this smoky pale grey sort of colour - so very unlikely to be Thomas Webb.
W.F's did produce colours such as silver, pewter, twilight, and they had some shapes described as 'thick walled', but whether those colours and shapes were produced at the same time I've no idea.             W/F's not my scene so shouldn't comment.

Looks on the face of it more likely to be Scandi of some sort, but famous last words etc.

Has a pontil with a fair few scratches indicating some age, hope this helps.

sorry, we don't do scratches           only joking   -  probably better to say that there is a depression under the base where the scar has been ground/polished.           But the answer is no, none of those features help to tell us its origin.              Shape, colour, maybe bubble structure.
I still think Scandi.

You'd need to see it in tbe flesh and have a  compoarison selection at hand becahse the quality finish teĺls you nothing. Could be Maastricht, Leerrdamn, or any of the scandinavians includi ng obscure ones, or somethig Germans depending on colour.

Can't see that shape in my Keith Murray book but it only has a few pieces of glass in it.
