Retro Glass Ice Bucket Mid Century?
« on: May 09, 2016, 07:14:34 AM »
I have recently bought this funky ice bucket which is fairly heavy and chunky and reminds me of a solifleur vase has a similar bubble effect.  I have tried to find similar designs through Google but have found nothing the same.   The bucket has a chrome handle and measures approx. 11cm tall with a diameter of 12cm across the top.  As I have several items in this pattern I am keen to find out more about it.  Could it be Scandinavian perhaps?  Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks.

I'd look at Peill & Putzler, Hoya, Walther, Orrefors and then at Czech manufacturers. I think Hoya might score.

Not Kosta Boda, unfortunately.
If I know, I'll comment. If I think I know, I'll have a go. If I have no idea, I'll just keep quiet and learn from others, so the next time I'll know.
