Topic: Red flask with silver leaf and many colours

This has me stumped, it is small bottle 11.5cm tall, nicely finished, small shallow polished pontil mark, some flecks of ash within the glass. A base of red glass is covered in silver foil with coloured chips on top.

The only item I have found that even comes close is Salviati circa 1880 - described as Corinthian Spangled vase, page 98 Venetian Glass, Confections in Glass. The trouble is that is made with a base of black glass rather than red. Stevens and Williams Silveria used silver foil and colour but this is not Silveria.

All thoughts most welcome!

Sadly not Firecracker, just too many differences. The closest match to my eye is still with Salviati who produced several variations along these lines.

Could be Ivo but it would be quite large for a snuff bottle, at least in my limited experience.

I should also say that regardless of my observation that Salviati used silver leaf and multi colour spots the shape of this flask is decidedly unlike anything I have seen from Salviati....

Manley shows a similar shape but I think it doesn't have a flat base - page56.  No idea who might have made it but he says Richardson's and says it's a 'two-coloured cameo brandy flask, ruby over opal opalescent'. 

He refers to another on page 90 no 259 as a brandy flask as well.  I'm not going to comment on what Manley says about maker.
So yours might a brandy flask perhaps?
