Topic: Hadeland Gro Bergslein Value: Green Apple

My elderly neighbor from Norway has asked me to sell this for her.
I have no idea what the value may be.  Using a magnifying glass I seem to read "Hadeland Gro" on the bottom.
Some research seems to state that the full name of artist is Gro Bergslein.
Can anyone shed any additional data on this piece?

Hi and welcome. 
Unfortunately, we do not really tend to discuss values here because they are very subjective in the secondary market.
We're really about the much more exciting business of identifying and discussing the glass.

However, there is a lot of interest in the Hadeland glassworks in Norway itself, and Gro Bergslein's work is  desirable.
If you were to put it up on that well-known auction site and ensured the auction was advertised in Norway, I'm sure it would happily make its own price.

I'm helping this widow liquidate so many unusual things that I know nothing about including this big green glass apple.
I will find some information about it elsewhere.

I think you really need Alexander to pop in and tell you a little bit more, if you don't find what you're looking for there.
I do like her work, I have a bottle vase, which you will find illustrated in those.

There's a search box at the top right hand side of every page here, but you need to start from "Glass Message Board" to search the whole site, otherwise it will just search the small area or forum you are currently in.

The search I did was for Gro Bergslien, which brought up about 7 links, but they didn't appear in the link I provided - sorry about that.
(I'm not too good at computery stuff, computers do things I don't ask them to behind my back, and refuse to do the things I do ask them to do.)

A general internet search only really brings up items for sale, but there are several apples illustrated.

There's a little info on Hadeland on the "greatglass" website. (a very useful site!)
