Information on Selkirk weight
« on: June 18, 2016, 06:48:53 PM »
Hi,

I acquired this lovely Selkirk weight recently but I do not remember seeing it before. The base of the weight says:

Selkirk Glass Scotland Dragonfly 37/250 1982

There is also a PH cane under the lampwork flower.

Does anyone know whether this weight was in the catalogue for 1982?

Hello Sophie,

your weight looks very much like the Dragonfly in the 1983 catalogue. A somewhat similar Dragonfly was first issued in 1981, and also shows up in the 1982 catalogue. Both were LE = 250.

Hi Wolf,

Yes, my weight does look like the one in the 1983 catalogue. Thank you very much for clarifying this.

Strange that I have never come across it before though... (I have never seen the one in the 1981catalogue either).

Thanks again for coming to the rescue.
