this was a friendship I made today at Kew  -  he says he is very much in favour of beaked vases and pulled feather decoration        
I say 'he' - but of course I was too polite to ask if that was correct, or not.

sorry - couldn't put this in the café as I wanted to include the picture   -   would have done so otherwise  -  give it a few hours and then delete please - it's just that I promised fame to my friend and didn't want to let 'him' down

I love watching them fly. They remind me of Hercules transport planes. And the sight of half a dozen plus feeding in the shallow sea with Great Cumbrae in the background certainly made my morning on one holiday in Ayrshire
