Identification of this red bowl
« on: August 29, 2016, 05:44:00 PM »
Hello,

I found this bowl recently with this number and unknown signature underneath.

The vase is made out of a red outer layer and a transparant inner.

Height is 18,5 cm and the max. width is 25,5 cm; weight is 3,5 kilos.

Can anyone shed some light on this ?

Regards,

Gwarpy

Hi Gwarpy, welcome to the Board.

I have removed the duplicate thread you placed in the Belgium & Netherlands forum as we only need on thread per item, and in the general Glass forum to start with for an ID request. A moderator will update the title and move the thread to a Country forum when an ID is given.

Hopefully somebody will soon offer some thoughts on the bowl.

Glass bowl hasn't been indentified. Clearly something unknown !  ???

Bowl has been given to charity !

Thanks to all who has looked to this request.

Thread can be closed if needed.

Topics are never closed, we keep them open as more information can come to light and we can then update it. Expecting an ID within 4 days is a bit optimistic though, you need to allow members time to visit the board, look, consider, search, respond, sometimes that takes days, sometimes months, sometimes years. Patience is definitely a virtue in glass identification. Welcome to the board! :)
