Hello Carole,

If you were to look at the base of each of the Monart pieces that you have picked from Frank's site, you would see that none matched your vase.

There are indeed pieces of Monart with a pink inner, however they are so rare and well known as to be discounted.

The way the colour is laid into the metal (glass) is not consistent with any piece that I've ever seen.

The sheen of the glass, suggests the quality of the glass casing is higher than that of Monart.

Nigel

Thanks very much for the clarification. Consider all information will be helpful in further research on other glasses. Things to note, beyond shape, color, etc.

"The sheen of the glass, suggests the quality of the glass casing is higher than that of Monart." Are you referring to the sheen on my vase?

Again, thanks.

Carole

Hi Carole,

I have removed the Ysartglass site pics from Reply #9 and added a "Mod note" with a link to the Board Guidelines on use of copyright material. I have also added a note on the referenced pics and the url.
