Need Help With Etched Pattern on Pink Depression Tumblers
« on: September 21, 2016, 11:22:21 PM »
Hello Experts,
I have bought seven Pink Depression Glass Tumblers with an Etched Pattern I cant figure out. The Pattern has Roses and Leaves that cascade down the Tumblers then there's a Ribbon tied into a Bow. The Ribbon and the floral are also around the Tumbler below it's rim.
I know this sound crazy but it looks to me like Fostoria Romance. But Fostoria Romance was only done in Crystal. All Tumblers were footed. Then I thought it may be JUNE by Fostoria. They did make this line in several colors. But their Tumblers are all footed. Besides the etching to me doesn't look like JUNE. It Looks like Romance. I cant find any other etching with a Bow in it beside Orchid by Heisey. I know it's not Orchid. The Tumbler holds 10oz. of liquid. and is 5-1/2" tall. The blank looks like one Macbeth would have used. I just dont know where else to look. I found these at a live auction here in St Louis, MO. There was so much glass and very high end Pottery. I bought a few things then left. Now I dont know what it is that I bought. Any help would be awesome. Thank you!
