Hello
I was wondering if someone could help me identify this vase. I purchased it from an estate sale and it was a coke bottle green color. However I began to notice that in different lighting such as the sunlight or fluorescent lights it would change and become a range of colors from light green to lavendar, purple, rose pink and pink...depending upon the the lighting.
I've searched and searched but haven't been able to find anything like it. The closest I can find is the Alexandrite/Neodymium glass and those are never green at all and don't appear to have such a range of colors like this one does. Also they are all quite small usually no more then 10" in height and none at all in this shape.
This one is 20" tall and about 6" wide at the widest point. The very base of it where it sits is about 3" wide and very flat as if it was cut and then polished.
The pictures are the different colors that it changes to although I've left a few out because I could only post 4 but the last picture is sort of a collage of the top of the vase with different colors showing.
I've had this vase for about 3 years now and have always wondered about it. If anyone knows anything at all I would greatly appreciate your input.
I apologize in advance if the quality of the pictures is not good. I couldn't send this message because the file size was too big and had to reduce them down.
thanks
Theresa
