Can this small bowl really be Walther?
« on: October 28, 2016, 08:01:21 PM »
I was trying to I.D a cream jug and looking at Pamela Wessendorfs "Pressglas" and came across a small bowl that looks very similar to this one.  It's identified as Walther but has no name or other details.  Although mine is a deep blue colour like other Walther pieces I have I'd always thought it was later than the 1930s date Pamela attributes to it, possibly English 50s.

Mine is 8cms high and has the number "3" moulded into the centre of the base.  Can anyone verify that the one I have is Walther and not a later copy please.  Also does anyone know if it had a name as is usual with other Walther sets I've seen.
Thanks.
