Hello to the GMB from Calgary. Don't think this is Canadian glass (even if it was maybe purchased here) but one of the more common British glass houses. Can't think for the life of me which one, Davidson's? maybe? I know they've been discussed, so someone will be able to help us.

Stuff made in Britain was available for purchase in Canada. Have some Egbert and Sons' catalogues with glass (Briarley I think) advertisements on them, etc.

I'm really not trying to be picky or argumentative, but................

just wondered if in fact this one would qualify as a genuine lazy susan  -  I had some notion that the lazy susan had to revolve on a central pedestal or stand, rather than the whole thing needing to be physically turned round as this appears it might.            Correct me if I'm wrong - often am.

Had some notion that pieces like this with segmented trays were common in the 1950s - 60s - and probably made by a variety of makers so likely that a positive id unlikely, although I'd agreee Davidson always a possibility.

Sandy, could you please post a picture of it disassembled, as have never seen a glass one which rotates, so I am intrigued as to how it is made. Thanks!
