Gave it a miss as short of readies - but lovely to have Keith. 
I suspect from your post that it's like my Loetz Karneol vase, which is extraordinarily heavy and noticeably so for size.

yes but I'd also just mistakenly bought a piece I don't like so ...   :-[

It was the one online wasn't it?  Otherwise there's been another online as well - I might be mis-remembering it as the same piece.

Yes m this was online and was less than £20, not counting p&p there are a couple more online at the moment one is £500 plus the other is over £1000 ! :o

What colour is the interior please Keith?

Just curious as there is a vase in Truitt's Bohemian Glass under Harrach that I could swear is an identical decor.
It has a gilded pattern on it on what appear to be only the front of the vase area though, not much.  It seems to have a pinkish interior but that might just be the photograph. pp56
