Two Pressed Glass pieces, possibly Depression?

<< < (2/4) > >>

Lustrousstone:
Robbo's right. There are several differences in the two compotes - the stem for instance and the pattern.  They almost look like copies from different companies

Here are some more photos of the comport:

Christine, as you say, the stem looks different. Also, the circle of "petals" in the centre of the bowl from the top view look proportionately smaller.

I neglected to mention the height - it's approx. 12cm. Could the slight differences be because this one is a smaller version?

time for me to finally photograph the small white one I have got - I did not compare so thoroughly so far - sorry for that! my pink one is huge, height at least is 20 or more... I'll return to this  :?

robbo:
Thanks Pamela -

I think my first photo was less clear than the newer ones!
Do you still think the probability is for Strombergshyttan?

Many thanks,
robbo

pamela:
Hi robbo, no further photos taken so far of mines, sorry,  but had an intense look at both of them and like to stick to Strombergshyttan
the bowl may not have been firepolished due to its 'flat' design (engraving of the mould), the stem however could have resisted a heavy fire polishing and that is what yours and mine show - JMHO yours perhaps a little more, mine a little less, but there are still visible the main decorations of halved pearls around

twisted? yes
