Are these Moser vases ?
« on: February 28, 2017, 10:54:48 AM »
Hello All,

About 50 years ago my wife and I bought a pair of vases at a house clearing sale - purely because we loved the look of them.   We have moved house few times since then but they have always been displayed in a position were we could enjoy them.

I have done a little research and I think they may be Moser but in all the guides, books and websites I have trawled I've never seen anything resembling them.

I am enclosing photos and have indicated the size.  The tops are fluted and the pattern, which is raised, is of glass and what appears to be gold.    Unfortunately the quality of the pics is not great as I have had to compress them to comply with forum rules.

We would love to know more about them as the time is fast approaching when they will be handed on to our two daughters - although it seems a crime to separate them.   They look so magnificent as a pair.

Any information would be greatly appreciated

Art.
