Moser? Val St Lambert? Lilac Neodymium Vase I.D
« on: March 16, 2017, 10:20:57 AM »
Hello to everybody, I have this great heavy vase, nothing is straight about it(only worn base, no makers mark and very worn), rim at top is wavy, with lovely deep waved grooves on side, Id guess it is Alexandrite(Neodymium) will add picture later.

I think has a look of Moser, Bohemia at least, but also has look of VSL, particularly the Aberdeen range. A good size at 20cm(8") tall and a heavy 2.6kg. Any ideas as to i.d please? Thanks for any ideas. Simon

Hello,

I don't know what it is, but it isn't VSL.
Aberdeen is a model and not a series, cut/designed with different patterns throughout the years, and I presume you've come across this pattern from 1956, but as you can see, your vase is more round and 'tapered' at the top.

Same vase under fluorescent tube, I thought it would go light blue, it has more of a light green hue, I tried in dark with UV light and it has orange reaction?
