Gold Amber Optic Rib Ball Vase I.d

Hello all, picked up this lovely little round vase, with horizontal ribbing, which give it great visuals, it is a lovely deep gold amber. The base is concave and slightly mottled (not polished pontil), and finely polished rim, it measures 9cm tall and near 10cm at widest, any ideas, thanks if you do. Simon

It is not unlike some WMF vases, by Erich Jachmann, that I have seen. Unfortunately never managed to see the base of one yet  :(
An avenue to explore, nonetheless
If I know, I'll comment. If I think I know, I'll have a go. If I have no idea, I'll just keep quiet and learn from others, so the next time I'll know.
