Blue pearline basket and pestle - is it Davidson?
« on: June 16, 2017, 02:47:39 PM »
I've a blue pearline basket which came with a short glass rod or pestle.  I've seen the basket given the ID of Davidson on eBay but I'm wary of eBay attributions if I don't have anything to back them up.  There's no design number on it or maker's mark that I've found.  The pestle looks to be in a similar glass to the clear blue, but it may be a marriage.  As well as the rim, the horizontal bands of the weave have a pearline look to them.  The basket is 12.7cm long including the handles and 5 cm high.  Does anyone recognize the maker/design?  It may well be Davidson but I've not found it in any of my books.
Thanks for any help or comments,
Marie.
