I need help identifying this bark blue and white glass vase. It looks like a Whitefriars pinhead vase or bark vase, but I can find nothing on the internet similar so think it is probably a copy, although it has the clear glass at the base and feels heavy and good quality. Anyone help? It is 21 x 6 x 6 cm and weighs 700g. Thanks.

Definitely not Whitefriars, sorry. As to what it is I don't know, looks modern though.

Possibly seventies Japanese. Not Whitefriars but still a rather stylish piece.

Hi to both kind glass experts who replied. I have checked out both Japan and Ingrid bark glass vases and can find nothing similar to the one I have. I will keep looking as I reliant on google and it doesn't always send you in the right direction. Thanks again, Sally

The surface texture and indented base on your vase are very similar to those seen on vases labelled 'Best Art Glass Foreign'. At present it is thought that these are Japanese, though I've no idea of maker.

I've owned examples in the same shape as yours before, but sadly none were labelled. I had a green one and also an orangey red one with white streaks.
