Topic: small marble looking glass vase ?

l don't know what this type of glass is called
4 3/4 inch high
it looks like marble but l would like to know the correct term for it
and maker if possible

Looks a bit like 'Alabaster' glass by Stevens & Williams, any chance of a sharper image, in particular the base  have included images of mine...

ive added some more pics hope they are clearer
there is no makers mark on base just some light scratches
l will follow your suggestion for stevens and Williams and look for the same shape

Could be m, not seen this shape before and I've not seen a S&W's piece without a pontil mark,
